We provide wholesale distribution of premium sauna rocks, sourced right here in Western Canada. Our aim is to save businesses money by offering a local alternative to expensive overseas shipments while still maintaining the excellent quality that sauna lovers expect.
We started as sauna builders and enthusiasts ourselves so we know what it takes to keep your saunas running. As small business owners, we were tired of paying the steep price for a product that was shipped from overseas, especially when our backyard was abundant of resources. We opened a new facility in 2025 and Stone 2 Steam was born.

What is Basalt?
Basalt is a fine-grained igneous rock formed from rapidly cooled volcanic lava. Its dense, low-porosity structure and high iron-magnesium mineral content give it exceptional thermal mass — absorbing heat evenly and releasing it in long, steady waves. Chemically stable under repeated thermal cycling, Basalt won't crack, spit, or degrade, making it one of the most trusted sauna stones on the market.
What we offer
We source all our rocks from a single source quarry located in Western Canada. Once they're in our processing facility, we run them through rigorous wash cycles. Each rock is checked again by hand and any left over debris is brushed off before weighing and packaging.
